Information Workshops

Register now for an Information Workshop that will introduce the 2006 Summer Reading Theme: Paws, Claws, Scales and Tales.

Presentations include:

An unrehearsed performance of Anne Lemay's new skit
Ideas and tips for decorating your library space with this year's theme
Displays about: the basics of running a summer reading club, publicity, arts and crafts, handicrafts, and recommended books for each grade level
Time to view the displays and discuss questions with committee members, focusing on the areas that are of importance to you

Please fill in your information and register online. You may choose the Workshop closest to you, but can attend a different one if another date is better for you. All workshops are open to New Jersey youth services librarians. Register early to attend at your desired location as space is limited. Handouts and all giveaways provided by the State Library (posters, banners, etc.) will be distributed at the workshops (you will be able to pickup giveaways for ALL of your branches).

Please also register for the children's craft workshop with Kathy Ross or the teen craft workshop with Saleena Davidson and Pat Obst.
